Osprey Women's Ariel 55 Zaino da trekking Donna (XS/S, blu)

REI was running a sale, and I was thrilled to get such a great price point. The Osprey Ariel 55 offers sufficient space for longer trips and excellent access points. I have yet to hit the trail; however, I do not foresee any issues. Glad I went with the 55 verse 65. Ordered the black, but it has a great dark green hue. Watch a few adjustment videos to create a personalized fit, very easy to adjust.

I needed a backpack specifically for a female body shape as I find the unisex ones too long in the body therefore it catches lower down when walking. This fits well. The straps are padded and fit snugly. Lots of pockets and separate compartments. Osprey make good packs for various activities and this is my 7th osprey item. I have only tested this on my return from the shop which was a short hike from the shop to home approx 8 miles but this felt good. Happy to add further update once used on a long hike. This has been purchased for west highland way.

I’ve only taken this out on its first outing, but I'm loving it so far. I’m a big fan of Osprey. Really comfortable once correctly fitted. I didn’t properly take my measurements before ordering the XS/S. Fortunately, it fits, but I’m really on the cusp between the small and the large, so it could have gone either way. I’m fairly short, around 5’2”, so assumed the smaller one would be right for me, but as it turns out, height doesn’t necessarily correspond with correct torso sizing when choosing a pack. Don’t be lazy like me; take the time to measure yourself using the Osprey size guide! The only feature that this pack lacks (which I’m familiar with, because it’s on my Osprey Tempest pack) is the ‘on-the-go’ trekking pole storage loops. Not a big deal, but once you get used to being able to easily take out / put away the poles on-the-go, you miss it when it’s not there! Otherwise, I’m loving this pack so far!
