My i7-4790 would idle at 48°c and would constantly thermal throttle when running furmark stress test using Intel stock cooler, but with this cooler it idles at 30-33°c and it never thermal throttles running a stress test. Please do not sleep on this little thing, dropped my temps with a 40% difference. I'm running a 5600x and tops up at around 50°C while gaming. Very happy with the results. A note for AMD users, you must have an original backplate from your motherboard.

cheap product do not buy if using latest tech rather buy a more expensive cooler or aio

I have a cpu with basically a 100 watt TDP and it keeps it at 50°C for extended periods of time. This is a really good cpu cooler i highly recommend

Keeps my 9700X cool at high loads. I know it's a low voltage CPU so it shouldn't get hot anyway, but with idle temps at 44 C and heavy loads in the 60s, I am very happy.
