Polar Unite Nero S-L — Cinturino

The Polar Unite is a GPS chip away from being an absolute bargain of a fitness watch. If you can get past that lack of built-in GPS, there’s a fantastic all-rounder here with solid heart rate, excellent fitness guidance for beginners and some leading sleep and recovery tools that paint a better all-round picture of health and wellness beyond just fitness.

The Polar Unite is an excellent entry-level fitness tracker, with an excellent screen, all-day activity monitoring and a superb companion app. In fact, its specs are almost identical to those of the Polar Ignite, but without the GPS. The problem is that the older Ignite has now dropped in price, making the two devices equally affordable, making the Unite hard to recommend. For now, we'd recommend either holding out for the Unite to drop in price, or looking for a special deal on the Ignite.
