I love this! I felt like I was able to see results fairly quickly. My skin looked brighter and healthier and if I stopped using it I could tell there was a difference, I could even see the difference in photos after a couple of months of use. My skin is brighter, moisturized, and has a beautiful glow to it even when I use this. My son loves it. I hadn't used it in over a year, and I can honestly say my skin looked better when I was using it regularly. Nothing over the top but it is noticeable to me. I wish the price was a little less but a bottle lasts quite a while. I love the chic look of the bottle as well but I put mine in a small spray bottle and spritz it onto my face. If you have the extra money to add this to your routine I think it is worth it. I have repurchased this several times and plan on keeping it in my routine.

Note: I don't use the "2nd generation" version of this; I use the original Pro Ferment version. This essence is my moisture holy grail. Insane good ingredients list and no fragrance to speak of other than a slight natural "fermenty" hint. Used right out of the shower, it makes my combo skin "dewy" and healthily glowing. It's especially soothing after a 10-minute The Ordinary AHA/BHA Peeling mask. Nothing really keeps and locks in initial moisture on my face like The First Treatment Essence does--not even hyaluronic acid products. The only less-than-perfect thing about the product is that the lid starts twisting on less tight as the weeks go by, but that's a small complaint. The "silver" of the lid also starts to flake off on certain bottles and get everywhere. Still, not a big deal.

it seems there are 2 kinds of this - the first treatment essence rx pro ferment alpha (4th gen) and the first treatment essence intensive moist. i bought the intensive moist one and only started using it yesterday. it absorbs easily and pretty hydrating but i cant really comment on how good it is for my skin as i need to use it long enough to notice any effects this product gives. will edit later.
