I purchased this mixer to manage my varied connections from my Mac, my synth, my e-drum, electric guitar/bass and microphones. It works flawlessly, the build is solid, the buttons, knobs and slider also feel solid. I like the 4 stereo inputs, which can also be used in MONO mode and the control/phones out is great for monitoring the mix. There are so many features that's it's impossible to include them all. Safe to say, if you're looking for a small inexpensive versatile mixer look no further. I have only one complaint, the blue power LED is WAY TOO bright. It's so bright I've had to put a piece of electrical tape over it because I could not see the writing on the mixer because I had the light in my eye.

Although is a good choice for entry level and home studio, there is a background noise which can not be eliminated whatsoever. The price is great as you can start at $38 for the 502, but you must be aware that this piece makes noise, not so loud but noise anyway.
