For many years this has been my favourite winter fragrance, so it's a regular purchase.

Gets lots of compliments when my husband wears . Nice fresh scent lasts well.

Rumoured to have been discontinued was false, just a drop in supplies due to popularity, and shelves are once again well stocked. Quite a pricey fragrance but you get what you pay for and that is elegance and eloquence in your wafting trails!

It became quite hard to find several years ago but is firmly back in stores once again, it was never discontinued as such, supplies just dwindled! Opium Pour Homme is the all-time classic oriental fragrance from Yves Saint Laurent that has its own cult following and for good reason. With its light, zesty, spicy, gingery and somewhat fruity aromas that are quite uplifting, its a lingering fragrance that is both noticeable and memorable. Good longevity and sillage carry this fragrance well, either day or night, in any season. Overall, a very pleasant, quite distinctive niche oriental fragrance, away from generics and eloquently wrapped in the desirable warmth of its own elegant DNA.
