Rabanne XS Excess 100 ml — Eau de Toilette Uomo

XS (1993) is a fresh, woody aromatic fougere that is versatile, smooth and a pleasure to wear. After a citrus, minty, lavender, spicy, and somewhat fruity opening that I find similar to Eternity and Chanel Platinum Egoiste, XS transitions nicely into the juniper, herbal heart that still holds a touch of green and florals before settling into a light musk, moss, vanilla, light patchouli, ambergris and wood base. Longevity is good and sillage is moderate. XS is suitable for office wear and is also a fine casual scent. I must admit, I was a bit skeptical when I first sampled this. The top notes are my least favorite stage of the fragrance, especially during the first few minutes after take off. I almost gave up on this one before I gave it a full wear. I recommend XS. Not a classic, but it smells great. Yes, this is XS and let's not "trim it" as was suggested by one esteemed critic who shall not be named. Thumbs up.

I don’t like the new bottle/packaging it is bulky and cumbersome to use!! The fragrance is not the same it smells like it is not as potent and I have to use and apply a lot more!!

XS Paco Rabanne (black packaging) not even close to the original eau de toilette in the white/beige package. Not at all pleased with the new product.

XS by Paco Rabanne it's just as good smelling his excess black I have to put it up there with Dolce Gabbana Polo red and DaVinci p i it stays on nearly all day long. It calms my nerves just to smell that fragrance it's not. In the aftershave us awesome also expensive yet under $40 a bottle if you like any of the Clones I mentioned do yourself a favor by it you'll love it
