Philipp Plein No Limit$ Uomo 50 ml — Eau de Parfum

Honestly, if it wasn’t for Parfumo I wouldn’t have touched this one with a stick. But I got interested for the OG because of reviews and recommendations by the good people on this platform. The perfumer is Alberto Morillas, known for some quite challenging perfumes and smelling this one and I can see he’s made this one. It opens with a good fruity blast of blackcurrant and pretty soon after the darker leather notes come forward. It’s pretty synthetic but I found it very pleasurable. The leather sticks to the end but gets accompanied by salty marine notes and musk. On a hot day it’s not that Super Fre$h as the title goes due to the density of that sweet leather accord but it’s still very enjoyable. Oh and the sprayer isn’t all that bad!

The bottle is great and really disperses a fine mist. The perfume starts off somewhat fresh for a winter scent, but that fades quickly. Then the dark, extremely masculine notes come to the forefront. Leather is the main note, but the scent is quite biting. You have to like this and be able to wear it. For this fragrance, you should look somewhat masculine and ideally have a good height; otherwise, it just doesn’t fit together. Also, white clothing would definitely not match this perfume. I find it wearable in summer, even though the Super Fresh is made for that. It's a great scent for all kinds of leisure activities in winter, but not for formal occasions. So far, I haven't smelled anything similar, and this is the first product for which I've already bought a second bottle. For me, it's the best in the line.

Interesting perfume, it immediately reminds me of the regular No Limit$. However, you quickly notice a freshness and sweetness with fruity notes. It is simply the predecessor optimized for summer and very well done. I would prefer it as an EdP, but it is worth the price anytime. I already own the 2nd bottle and with prices of €20 for 90ml, it’s great to wear during leisure activities like shopping. For me, it ranks 2nd among the No Limit%
