First of all, I want to say that L'Homme is a really great fragrance for a fair price, and for me, it is clearly better than the rather average ratings given here. It starts with a very fruity and unique top note - the rhubarb sets it apart from other standard citrus top notes and makes it feel more playful to me. Unfortunately, what gets a bit lost for me is the heart note. It sounds great from the fragrance pyramid, but you can hardly smell it. As a result, it transitions quite abruptly from fruity-playful to creamy-soft, The base note lingers for a long time, which is why I can't understand the durability rating. In summary, a great fruity-summery everyday scent for a small to medium budget.

Great blind buy. Something that is not like everything else fresh and clean can't go wrong kind of scent. Great for work and casual everyday wear.

Yes, it was actually my very first fragrance. It has never disappointed me and has even earned me a few compliments. For me, it is a very underrated men's scent. The Lacoste fragrance is particularly well-suited for the office. Mandarin and rhubarb are the first notes that stand out in this scent. Although it smells similar to many other perfumes (the scent style feels familiar when you smell it), the well-rounded rhubarb adds a delicious sweetness and makes this fragrance a bit more unique. The scent lasts for about 5-6 hours. I like the bottle, as it is kept very simple.

In my opinion, I smell strong parallels to "Boss Scent". Whether it's just me, I have no idea. In any case, very strong sillage, truly fantastic for the price. And the longevity is almost just as good. The scent is by no means bad. But when I wear it, I find that after a short time it becomes too sweet and especially way too fruity for me. But that's a matter of taste... With the "fruitiness," Lacoste almost always has that... Somehow, I also see it as an all-rounder that I would gift. BUT I would prefer to buy Boss Scent because it appeals to me more. Price/Performance: 4 / (out of) 5
