A cold garden shower after sports called for a scent that warms. Lagerfeld Classic Grey does exactly that here. And there was the feeling again. Just more mature. Love. Choosing something new again and again and realizing that you haven't forgotten it. The fragrance is warm, fresh, creamy, and herbal at the same time. Then I set it aside for a longer time because the cedarwood was too overpowering for me. Why was this bottle chosen? Months later, I picked it up again and was astonished. The cedarwood was no longer so dominant. Did Grey need more maturation time? I asked myself again, why this bottle? What is the message? Lagerfeld classic was my very first perfume, that was in the early 80s, which I liked immediately. The fantastic long-lasting scent, with a pleasant sandalwood-like note will probably stay in my memory for a lifetime. I will soon get myself a bottle in the hope that it still smells as good as it did back then.
