John Varvatos Artisan Pure Uomo 125 ml — Eau di Toilette

Nice, masculine feel. Artisan Pure is a mature scent... A great summer fragrance. Opens with a burst of sweet citrus. It smells zesty and juicy at the same time. During this opening there is already a lovely sharp herbal note in the background, almost like petitgrain or thyme. The musk is subtle in thos fragrance which smberamplifoes into a beautiful cocktail. Fresh citrus fragrances are not to my personal taste, but I can appreciate the fragrance for what it is. Good for all occasions and settings and seasons but probably better in warmer months. Not too loud so dont be afraid to go with 4 sprays. Thumbs Up

This, friends, is what we call a “summer banger”. And a head turner. Could never call this boring and without character. Are we talking about the same product? This is bold, confident perfumery. And like it or not (I like it) it’s original and unique. Artisan Pure zaps you with Italian citrus - I get mostly a deep, cloved orange that never leaves - and then adds woods that get smooth and creamy by the end. There’s an herbal quality to Artisan Pure, but it’s not the least bit green. That dark orange adds so much character. It’s tangy, spicy and sophisticated. Pretty linear, and JV isn’t known for their projection, but this performs decent, and just smells sooooo good.

i absolutely love this cologne….it lasts long and is right up there with the other great perfumes….i feel it’s his absolute best smelling one…

Wow this was a blind buy and definitely worth it smells amazing. The combination of the citrus floral and herbal notes reminds me of when I used to work in a garden center over the summer love it!
