Davidoff Cool Water Reborn Intense 100ml Uomo — Eau de Parfum

This is not meant to be a summary, but the fragrance sold under the name of the almost legendary Cool Water is by no means worthy of its name. And certainly not "Reborn." While the scent bears a slight resemblance to Cool Water, it falls short of it olfactorily in every way. It’s not an icy cold shower. No crisp feeling of freshness. No scent for extreme temperatures. I remain puzzled about the thought process behind this fragrance. It’s as if they took the DNA of Cool Water and replaced everything that previously worked with a completely chaotic concept. And how does it smell now? Very dull and synthetic, somewhat even slightly "burnt" (?!) and in a certain way also heavy. It’s really an exhausting scent cloud at times. It has a bit of that over-the-top, cheap men’s shower gels that are supposed to smell like panthers, dragons, or absolute POWER! If I were to create a Top 10 list of synthetic perfumes, I would definitely include this one. I’m really sorry, but I’m at a loss for words.

I really like the scent. To me, it smells like a high-quality deodorant (which is not meant negatively). It simply smells like freshly showered, and on my skin, it lasts really long. The bottle is typical Cool Water and quite simply designed. However, it serves its purpose, and I find the color transition in the glass really beautiful. So anyone looking for a fresh scent for the office or even for sports is, in my opinion, right here. I think it is simply always wearable, and that is exactly what I really like about it. Additionally, it lasts really long for me at least.

I think this scent is great! It's nothing revolutionary, but I don't think it should be. The character is reminiscent of Cool Water and delivers the familiar just-showered smell, but not the clean man scent known from Cool Water; instead, it has a seductive sweetness that, in my opinion, comes through right upon spraying. Freshly showered with sweet nuances. Longevity is a clear improvement over Cool Water. For a few euros, it's really a recommendation. One must always see the scent in relation to the price. It's not a groundbreaking innovation, but with the new components for the price, it's really a lovely thing.
