Acqua di Parma Colonia Intensia Uomo 180 ml — Acqua di Colonia

I kept thinking about finally writing a second review here. That this scent will be the one is thankfully thanks to jakdelind, from whom I got this fragrance sample. I already know many scents from Aqua di Parma, but I didn't expect one like this: an olfactory layering right from the start. The two citrus top notes merge with coriander and amyris into a fresh, peppery-spicy ginger perception. All of this is embedded in a deep dark woody framework. Super well done. For some reason, I then sprayed Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum on the other wrist and what can I say? Great scent, yes, but. The Colonia Oud Eau de Cologne Concentrée feels more seductive and, in my perception, better in a different way. Btw: no animalistic or overpowering oud. Hats off.

Lovely aftershave, bought as a Christmas gift for somebody who had specifically requested it. My shopping experience was great, I bought it in store, the assistant was very knowledgeable & helpful. It was well packaged, and she gave us some free samples.
