Guerlain Set La Petite Robe Noire Donna 100ml Eau de Toilette

Love this perfume and everyone comments on how lovely I smell when wearing it

I recently received this as a present. The first time that I sprayed this perfume on my wrist I was instantly hit with the black cherry top notes. After around 20 minutes, the top notes settle and it becomes more of a floral scent. Overall, I would say it a slightly sickly sweet smell. I have found that it lasts around 8 hours. I can’t say that it is the prettiest bottle that has eve graced my dressing table but it is not offensive either.

My new favourite. Even if it's only EDT, it lasts really long. I think that is a great fragrance.

The bottle of this I received for Christmas smells dreadful, exactly like old fashioned furniture polish. I couldn't wait to scrub it off. I generally love Guerlain fragrances but this one is not a keeper. I had read reviews describing it as "a modern masterpiece" so I had expected great things. I smell lots of the licorice scent coming through but none of the florals. Maybe it just doesn't work on my skin. My advice - try a tester first.

Perfect for daytime - I have the Couture version also, which I tend to wear in an evening. Was going to buy the eau de parfum but found It really wasn't for me, too fruity. This is more woody and, well, just makes me smile. Lots of lovely compliments too
