I bought this lens not only because I needed a truly wide angle lens in my collection, also I travel a lot around the world, and in a city environment it’s ideal to get the perfect shot. Along with the Leica brand, it fits in perfectly with my photographic requirements

My favourite MFT UWA zoom, albeit I think the 8-25mm f4 might be the a good candidate too.

Apart from annoying decentered samples and if you can get a good one: This is an excellent extreme zoom lens and absolutely worth the price.

Good Points: Great wide angle lens sharp images lightweight considering the quality of the lens works well with filters and smooth focusing Improvement Points: Would be great if it was F2.8 throughout the range

It is the perfect companion lens for the Panasonic Leica 12-60mm f:2.8-f:4 which with 1:1.67 macro equivalent at 60mm basically eliminates any need to carry a macro lens for most purposes. For what the lens is and delivers, I think the price is very fair.
