got the tapes, all looked well. I opened the first box a got the tape to begin archiving. The first tape I installed, either had a faulty leader or something else was wrong with the tape, because the tape would not load properly and was not able to eject properly and the leader was not able to be retrieved from my tape drive. I had to open my tape drive and manually retrieve the tape and leader, while doing so, something in my tape drive broke. Looks like I am in the early stages of either repairing my tape drive or replacing it, due to the faulty tape. Lesson learned on saving a few extra bucks on LTO tapes. Turns out this was a costly mistake.

I don't usually use this brand for my LTO archiving.. but as it is a one-use item the price was right.
